* What is the expected energy output?  How does it compare to my historical needs?
* What is the cost of the system?  What is the cost breakdown of major items?
* What is the cost of the system on an installed per watt basis?

Certification and Warranties

* Do the products you are installing have UL, IEEE or IEC certification?
* What is the warranty on the solar panels and the inverter?

Installer Team

* Who is installing the system?  Are they certified?
* How long will the team be onsite?
* What insurance cover do you have for your installers?
* Provide references - what other solar homes in the area have you installed?

Utility Programs

* What solar programs are available in the area?
* How is grid connection and metering handled?
* What rebates exist and how are they collected?  Who will collect them?
